Location: The Studio of Delyth Williams & Parrog, Newport, Pembrokeshire
Group size: Maximum 3 participants

The Experience
Studio Introduction & Coastal Observation (Morning)
We begin in the studio with a relaxed introduction to the day before walking together down to Parrog to work directly in the landscape.
Through gentle, guided exercises you will explore:
• movement in waves, wind, and shoreline
• bright shifts in summer light and colour
• expressive line and texture from nature
• emotional response to a living landscape
You will gather visual material in a sketchbook through observation rather than finished drawing.
Reflection & Lunch Break
A pause to rest, reflect, and identify the visual ideas that will shape your painting. Please bring a packed lunch.
Studio Painting Session (Afternoon)
Back in the studio, your observations become the foundation for an abstract painting.
You will be guided through:
• energetic mark-making and expressive line
• layered, vibrant colour inspired by the coast
• composition and flow
• building atmosphere through paint
Each participant leaves with a finished artwork.
