Sketching the Parrog
Join us for an inspiring evening of sketching at the beautiful Parrog in Newport, Pembrokeshire as part of North Pembrokeshire Open Studios
Led by artists Delyth Williams and Dawn Reader, this relaxed outdoor session offers a unique opportunity to draw directly from the landscape in one of Newport’s most loved coastal settings. As the evening light moves across the estuary, you’ll be guided through approaches to sketching that help you capture atmosphere, colour, and the ever-changing character of the scene.
Suitable for all abilities, these friendly sessions are designed to build confidence, encourage experimentation, and support your own way of seeing and responding to the landscape.
Whether you’re picking up a sketchbook for the first time or returning to your creative practice, you’ll leave with fresh ideas, renewed inspiration, and a personal record of this remarkable place.
