I'm drawn to painting Contemporary Seascapes because they allow me to capture the raw emotion of the sea and sky and translate it into a visual play of abstract shapes and vibrant colours. I'm interested in how a sense of movement, response and passion can be expressed through painting, and I know it can be a source of wellbeing for those that feel its energy. When I'm painting, I'm in a state of heightened sensitivity and emotional connection to the work I'm creating.
